Fenrir Industries, Inc., announces a sister product to its Ram Target, The Rammer's Gauge.
The Rammer's Gauge is the first item of its kind to actually measure the force of a kinetic forced entry tool such as a sledge hammer or battering ram and does so in real time.
Mounted on a solid object, such as a foundation wall or Fenrir's Ram Target, the Rammer's Gauge provides a consistent strike target and repeatable measurement of force.
This enables the user to perfect and gauge the improvement in his strike against the changes in his swing technique, and thereby perfect his "psycho-motor" training. Psycho-motor training is the education of a person's muscles to perform a repetitive task with increased efficiency without conscious thought.
The Rammer's Gauge uses a high pressure hydraulic sensor and digital gauge to instantly record changes in pressure resulting from each strike. In this way, the gauge acts like a carnival's "ring-the-bell" game, the higher the number, the better the swing. The digital gauge can display force in real time and hold peak values for review. It can also output to a PC for further analysis.
The Rammer's Gauge is a perfect option for the Ram Target. The Ram Target is much like a football team's tackling sled and can be repeatedly struck by any kinetic forced entry tool includinjg Fenrir's In-Forcer Ballistic Ram System. It can also be fitted with our Rammer's Gauge to provide instant real-time objective feedback indicative of the rammer's performance.
