Fenrir Introduces The End of "The Fatal Funnel," - Full Coverage Ballistic Protection for Rammers.

Fenrir Industries, Inc., announces the successful development of the next product in its growing proprietary product offerings and its entry into the ballistic armor market: the Tactical Team Door Shield. The Door Shield is the largest single panel of AlliedSignal's GoldFlex ever to be sewn into a shield.
For years the police officer standing in front of the door swinging the ram was exposed to great danger from bullets being fired through the door by the very person or persons to be apprehended. Often this meant the officer would have to stand beside the door, a position which reduces the efficiency of the ram and exposed the rammer's wrists to injury by the door frame.
No longer. The Tactical Team Door Shield, or TTDS, is designed to adhere to many surfaces like a "Post-It Notetm on steroids" through a unique and proprietary hook and loop similar to Velcrotm with adhesive system and stays adhered even while taking fire. Once mounted, the TTDS can be struck by the ram without having its ballistic performance degraded. Once the door swings open, the TTDS swings in with it and out of the way.
The TTDS can also be used wherever temporary ballistic protection is required.
The TTDS has been certified to provide full NIJ 0108.01 Level IIIA protection and has also been tested to the wet test requirements of NIJ 0101.03. Testing was performed by the independent testing laboratory of H.P. White Laboratory at their Street, Maryland facility. H.P. White is the same laboratory employed by the National Law Enforcement and Correction Training Center and the U.S. Department of Justice to certify all body armor.
The TTDS measures 30 inches by 64 inches (shot pack is 30" x 60") and weighs 12 pounds.
